About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Program Manager to support Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) and Toxicology activities across the Drug Discovery and early Development portfolio. This role will partner with scientific, technical, and operational leaders to ensure effective planning and execution of CMC and toxicology programs.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead and manage cross-functional CMC and toxicology programs supporting drug discovery and IND-enabling activities
→Develop and maintain integrated project plans and timelines across CMC, nonclinical safety, regulatory, and discovery interfaces
→Coordinate and manage external engagements with CROs and CDMOs
→Partner with Finance and functional leaders to track budgets and forecasts
→Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and document decisions
→Assess program status, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
→Support portfolio-level planning and resource allocation
→Contribute to the development of program management processes
→Serve as alliance manager for external partnerships
→Provide clear communication to stakeholders on program progress

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in life science or engineering; MS or PhD preferred
✓6+ years of program or project management experience in biotech or pharmaceutical drug development
✓Working knowledge of CMC development and nonclinical toxicology
✓Experience managing external CROs/CDMOs and sponsored research
✓Familiarity with IND-enabling workflows and regulatory considerations
✓Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
✓Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
✓Strong organizational and planning skills
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
✓Experience designing and implementing process improvements
✓Critical thinker with strong initiative and judgment
✓Must be willing to work onsite at least four days per week
