About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Product for Payments to own the product vision and execution for Canary's payments platform. This role operates at the intersection of fintech and hospitality, partnering with payment processors, managing PCI compliance, and delivering secure, frictionless payment experiences across various workflows.

Key Responsibilities

→Own the end-to-end payments product strategy across the company
→Expand payment processor integrations to unblock Sales and Activation globally
→Build and scale payments infrastructure as a platform
→Coach for outcomes and build payments domain expertise
→Orchestrate complex go-to-market motions with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing
→Operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Requirements

✓6+ years in product management, including at least 3+ years in payments
✓Deep understanding of payment processing ecosystems
✓Track record of building and scaling payment products
✓Experience navigating regulated environments and complex technical integrations
✓Strong product judgment for balancing security, compliance, user experience, and commercial outcomes
✓Proven ability to drive enterprise deals where payments are a critical component
✓Technical fluency to partner with Engineering on payments infrastructure
✓Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
