About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our Solution Architecture team at Abacus Insights. This role involves supporting both ongoing and new implementations by crafting highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of Abacus' offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- →Author project architecture design documents, including data flows, sequence diagrams, and overall system architecture
- →Work across business and IT teams to understand current capabilities and define the overall technology strategy roadmap
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement client projects that reduce technology costs and solution redundancy
- →Define solution architecture visions for designated components
- →Provide mentorship to internal teams on business needs and use cases
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of healthcare data and systems, including US healthcare data
- ✓Domain expertise in CMS Interoperability Mandate (9115 / 0057)
- ✓Ability to define solution architecture vision in architecture design documents
- ✓Broad technical knowledge in infrastructure, data models, databases, and cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and customer needs
- ✓Experience translating business needs into technology solutions
- ✓Strong communicator with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences
- ✓Experience working in the payer/healthcare data space
