What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
• AI Engine Optimization (AEO) — Core Strategic Priority.You’ll define Canva’s B2B AEO strategy and execution roadmap.
• Optimizing content and site architecture for AI-powered discovery and synthesis.
• Structuring high-authority, context-rich content that LLMs reference and surface.
• Establishing Canva as a trusted entity in our category through expert-backed content and community signals.
• Building measurement frameworks to track AI visibility, citation frequency, referral impact, and downstream pipeline contribution.
• Partnering with SEO, content, PR, product marketing, and data teams to operationalize AEO at scale.
• Web Strategy as the Inbound Conversion Engine. You’ll own Canva’s B2B website strategy as the central conversion engine for AI- and search-driven traffic.
• Align site architecture with AEO discovery principles and user intention.
• Prioritize high-impact initiatives that increase qualified lead conversion through best-in-class design and web experiences.
• Drive CRO experiments tied directly to pipeline velocity and revenue impact.
• Integrate AI-driven chat, personalization, and intelligent routing to accelerate enterprise conversion.
• Partner closely with digital marketing, creative, engineering, and SEO to ensure the website reflects evolving discovery behaviors.
• Interlock Strategy with the Core SEO Team. You’ll partner closely with the SEO team to develop an integrated SEO + AEO growth engine for B2B, and work with teams to bring it to life.
• Combine B2B strategy and pipeline priorities with SEO principles and resourcing.
• Identify high-intent opportunities within B2B segments and verticals to advance our discoverability and capture high-intent demand.
• Shape content strategy to support narrative alignment, ranking performance and AI discoverability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize initiatives that drive measurable traffic and pipeline, and roll up your sleeves to drive work forward.
• B2B Community-Led Inbound. You’ll develop programs for perspective-driven communities that reinforce authority, credibility, and word-of-mouth — strengthening Canva’s position in both human and AI-driven discovery.
• Identify and authentically engage in high-signal external communities (e.g., discussion forums like Reddit and Quora, industry networks like Linkedin, review platforms, niche professional forums) that inform AI search.
• Create programs that translate practitioner insight into authoritative content that fuels SEO and AEO performance.
• Amplify customer advocacy, testimonials, and expert contributions to strengthen trust and authority signals across discovery surfaces.You're probably a match if

We’re hiring a senior B2B AEO and organic Growth Marketing Manager to define and scale Canva’s AI Engine Optimization (AEO) and organic inbound strategy globally. In this role, you will position Canva to become the authoritative, default answer across AI tools, search engines, communities, and conversational interfaces — ensuring we capture high-intent demand wherever modern B2B buyers seek answers.
This is a frontier growth role at the intersection of AI discovery, search, website experience, and B2B community activation — accountable to pipeline and revenue impact.You will architect Canva’s B2B organic growth engine: integrating AI discovery, search, web conversion, communities, and word-of-mouth into a compounding inbound system.
You’ll lead execution across cross-functional teams — SEO, content, engineering, design, product marketing, data science, ops, and sales — defining and influencing strategy to ensure Canva dominates emerging discovery surfaces while converting intent into qualified pipeline and revenue.

At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $156,000 to $241,000. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
