About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager for the Print Promotions team at Canva Print. This role involves working closely with product managers, marketing, and other stakeholders to set the team direction and lead the team to execute, hitting short-term tactical goals while building a platform for the future.
Key Responsibilities
- →Coach and develop engineers by providing regular, practical feedback to help them reach their personal growth goals
- →Work with product managers, designers, marketing, and other stakeholders to set clear goals for the team
- →Set the team’s technical strategy in conjunction with senior engineers
- →Foster a culture of collaboration, celebration, high-performance, and pragmatic engineering
- →Own the team’s development methodology including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives resulting in a high-performing team
- →Balance short-term tactical delivery against long-term platform work to empower others in the business
