About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to join the FP&A team at Canva. This role combines day-to-day operations with strategic project work, focusing on topline forecast models and revenue metrics analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and optimise scenario and operational models, working closely with Finance Business Partners
- βProvide forecasts that feed into profitability analysis and support the broader FP&A team
- βIdentify potential risks to future growth and revenue through monitoring of metrics
- βProvide monthly updates for actuals and revise forecasts based on business insights
- βCollaborate across the business to ensure forecasts accurately reflect business reality
Requirements
- βExcel modelling expertise with a desire to expand knowledge of data structures
- βExperience in strategic corporate finance, private equity/venture capital, or similar environments
- βStrategic thinking with sound commercial acumen
- βUnderstanding of various operational modelling techniques
- βAbility to analyse multiple dimensions of business drivers and thrive in cross-functional collaboration
- βKeen eye for identifying areas of improvement in existing models
- βData analysis skills with experience joining disparate data sources
- βExperience with PowerQuery, PowerBi, DAX and SQL is a plus
