About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join Canva's CORE AI Research team. This role focuses on bridging cutting-edge AI research with real-world product applications that empower creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- βBring product empathy and user understanding to research projects
- βTranslate complex research work into tangible product opportunities
- βCollaborate with researchers to prioritize capabilities within projects
- βDesign evaluation methodologies and facilitate expert input
- βSupport research teams in launching AI models thoughtfully
- βEnsure research ideas and requests reach CORE teams
- βContribute to research project prioritization at the portfolio level
Requirements
- β5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML products
- βDirect experience taking research-based AI features from concept to production
- βStrong understanding of AI/ML technology
- βExperience creating or managing visual content with domain expertise in design tools
- βAbility to make technical product decisions in ambiguous research environments
- βExceptional communication and collaboration skills
