About the Role
Capco is seeking a Junior Automation Test Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves working with clients in the Banking and Trading application platform, focusing on test automation and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understand project requirements and test objectives
- →Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts
- →Perform manual and/or automated testing on various applications
- →Log defects and track them to closure using bug tracking tools
- →Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality releases
- →Analyze test results and provide regular reports
- →Learn and apply testing techniques, tools, and best practices
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- ✓Good understanding of Java and/or Python programming
- ✓Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying
- ✓Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting
- ✓Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Good communication and teamwork abilities
- ✓Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
