About the Role
Capco Technology is seeking an IT Solution Architect to design and deliver modern cloud and AI-powered platforms across Insurance and Financial Services. This role involves architecting and integrating AI and automation capabilities to modernize legacy applications and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect and integrate AI and automation capabilities (LLMs, OCR, document intelligence, chatbots, model-powered decisioning)
- →Work closely with engineering teams to guide delivery, set patterns, and ensure high-quality implementations
- →Modernize legacy applications into microservices, containers, and serverless ecosystems
- →Define non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, observability)
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, data, product, security) to deliver end-to-end solutions
- →Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and present technical recommendations
- →Contribute to technical strategy, standards, and reusable architecture patterns
Requirements
- ✓10+ years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles
- ✓8+ years designing large-scale distributed systems
- ✓Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Strong background in microservices, APIs, containers, IaC, DevOps pipelines
- ✓Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into products or workflows
- ✓Strong knowledge of modern backend engineering (Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot; bonus for Python, Go, etc.)
- ✓Ability to work across hybrid environments and modernize legacy systems
- ✓Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting architecture to technical and business stakeholders
