About the team and position
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with 4+ years of work experience to join Carvana’s Quantitative Marketing team to own end-to-end, customer-facing nurture communications across channels such as email, SMS, and push notifications. You’ll partner closely with data science, engineering, analytics, and design to turn customer data into highly personalized, measurable communication products that drive meaningful business outcomes.
The Quantitative Marketing team sits at the intersection of data, product, and customer growth. We drive demand for the business by deeply understanding our customers and coordinating how we communicate with them across paid marketing and owned communication channels using experimentation, analytics, and AI-driven systems.
This Senior Product Manager role focuses on nurture communications within Quantitative Marketing—guiding customers from early interest through purchase or sale. You’ll own customer-facing nurture communication experiences, helping customers discover vehicles, receive personalized recommendations, progress through financing, and re-engage when their journey stalls.
We’re an AI-first team, using machine learning to understand customer intent, personalize at scale, and continuously improve performance. This role is ideal for a product leader with strong quantitative instincts who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to drive meaningful customer and business impact.
What you’ll be doing
You will work closely with engineering, design, analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to scope and prioritize initiatives, write detailed requirements, define and own experimentation plans, analyze performance, and launch customer communications across email, SMS, and push notifications.
Most importantly, you will drive measurable business impact. As the product leader for your area, you are accountable for the success of your products and the long-term trajectory of key organizational KPIs, like sales, gross profit, and cost per unit sold.
You’ll be expected to:
• Drive the product roadmap and lead end-to-end product development informed by market research, analytics, and business needs.
• Partner cross-functionally to define impactful customer targeting strategies, identify optimization opportunities, and size and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Own experimentation and measurement, actively interpreting results and translating insights into continuous product improvements.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Data Science, Design/UX, Analytics, and Customer Care teams.
• Work full-time in our Los Angeles office.
We are looking for people who are excited to thrive in an environment of impactful change. If you want to grow not just as a Product Manager but as a leader and business-builder, Carvana is the place for you. More broadly, our technology teams build:
• End-to-end ecommerce for both selling and buying cars, including everything you see on Carvana.com and in our mobile apps.
• AI-driven customer support across chat, email, SMS, and voice, as well as a proprietary CRM platform to ensure the most efficient and highest quality customer experience.
• 360° vehicle photography and interactive merchandising using cutting edge computer vision and AI techniques.
• The most sophisticated and self-service automotive lending platform in the world.
• Systems and tools behind a nationwide logistics network that has delivered and picked up over 3 million cars via our fully owned and operated fleet of automotive haulers, efficiently managing distribution of our massive inventory to 85% of US driveways.
And much, much more…

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills to maintain strong attention to detail while leading large cross-functional efforts.
