About the Role
We are seeking an Architecture Manager to lead the strategy and execution of software architecture for the Porto Project, a high-complexity technical initiative with direct business impact. This role ensures engineering excellence, architectural scalability, and technical sustainability while bridging business strategy, technical decisions, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define, evolve, and govern microservices and micro front-end architectures
- →Make architectural decisions based on technical trade-offs considering performance, security, and reliability
- →Establish and disseminate engineering standards and patterns
- →Implement continuous improvement cycles focused on engineering
- →Define and monitor quality metrics including code quality and DORA metrics
- →Act as technical reference for the team through mentorship and code reviews
- →Guide strategic use of generative AI tools for engineering productivity
- →Serve as primary technical interlocutor with the client
- →Maintain client presence 1-2 times per week
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience with Java, Node.js, and React
- ✓Strong knowledge of microservices and micro front-ends
- ✓Experience with synchronous and asynchronous integrations
- ✓Practical experience with AWS and scalable cloud architectures
- ✓Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and SRE practices
- ✓Experience with metrics-driven engineering and continuous improvement
- ✓Technical leadership profile with hands-on capability when needed
- ✓Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- ✓Strong client relationship and strategic discussion skills
