About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Clasp as our first full-time design hire. This hands-on senior IC role requires someone who is excited to design, prototype, and ship alongside Product and Engineering. You’ll be the design anchor for the company, owning the experience for core users.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead end-to-end design for core workflows and product experiences
- →Build and evolve the design system for consistency in typography, color, layout, and components
- →Prototype and validate concepts with real users using Figma
- →Conduct user research to inform decisions and strengthen understanding of each persona
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams
- →Elevate the visual craft to raise the bar for clarity, quality, and cohesion
- →Infuse delight and personality across the platform
- →Explore and apply AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and design production
Requirements
- ✓Full-lifecycle design work with case studies showing problem identification, validation, design systems, and shipping experiences
- ✓Systems thinking to design scalable experiences across interconnected ecosystems
- ✓Fluency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping
- ✓Strong visual craft with a refined sense of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
- ✓AI curiosity with hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools
- ✓Research competency with qualitative and quantitative research
