About the Role
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team at ClearEdge, supporting programs and infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing network systems to ensure reliable and protected communication across software engineering and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, implement, maintain, and secure enterprise network infrastructures
- →Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or throughput issues
- →Implement and maintain network security controls and configurations
- →Perform configuration changes, upgrades, and patches on routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- →Support Linux and Windows systems, including system administration tasks as required
- →Use automation tools such as Ansible or Salt to streamline network operations
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable network functionality
- →Recommend network upgrades or modifications based on performance and security analysis
Requirements
- ✓Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- ✓Minimum of three years as a Network Engineer within the last three years
- ✓Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- ✓Proficiency with Linux and Windows
- ✓CCNA or CCNP certification
- ✓Security+ certification
- ✓Ability to climb ladders and perform physical network installation and maintenance tasks
- ✓Twelve years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of network engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- ✓IAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
