About the Role
We are looking for a talented backend engineer to join our growing engineering team at ClearScore. You will influence the direction of critical services and tools that allow us to scale rapidly, deploying code to production affecting millions of users globally.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Native Engineers, Test Engineers, and product managers to build new features
- →Contribute to a global microservices architecture written in Scala
- →Participate in our ongoing transition towards an event-driven architecture using Kafka
- →Develop integrations with new partners globally
- →Work with the Typelevel Stack (Cats, Cats Effect, http4s, Circe), Kafka, SBT, and occasionally Akka HTTP
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Scala and functional programming
- ✓Knowledge of REST API and microservices architecture
- ✓Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven systems
- ✓Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker
- ✓Understanding of TDD and peer-reviewing practices
