About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Customer Solutions Engineer to join Cloudflare's team in Munich, Germany. This role involves serving as the primary technical advisor for complex, high-scale global enterprises, bridging customer engineering teams with Cloudflare's product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deliver timely and organized onboarding for customers
- →Work closely with Customer Success Managers on regional business
- →Ensure customer retention and expansion through relationship building
- →Provide proactive technical guidance across all Cloudflare products
- →Collaborate with Customer Support and Engineering teams
- →Identify opportunities for customer expansion
- →Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities
- →Travel 20-40% for customer meetings and industry events
Requirements
- ✓At least 10 years of experience in technical post-sales roles in cybersecurity or internet technology
- ✓Fluency in German and English
- ✓Bachelor's degree in IT field (Master's preferred)
- ✓Deep understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP)
- ✓Knowledge of security aspects (Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management)
- ✓Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash)
- ✓Technical curiosity and passion for internet technology
- ✓Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- ✓Bonus
- ✓Understanding of regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC-2)
