About the Role

Coalfire is seeking a Penetration Tester to join our team and help clients navigate cybersecurity challenges. This role involves conducting security assessments and simulating cyberattacks to protect clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

→Advise clients on technical security or compliance activities
→Manage priorities and tasks to achieve delivery utilization targets
→Operate with professionalism both internally and with clients
→Ensure quality products and services are delivered on time
→Develop professional skills with relevant industry certifications
→Collaborate with project managers and other team members to drive customer satisfaction
→Develop processes, procedures, and methodologies to enhance testing
→Assist with report generation and quality assurance processes
→Develop client relationships
→Assist in the scoping of prospective engagements
→Manage project escalations of current testing
→Mentor and develop less experienced staff
→Contribute to the Penetration Testing Team's success

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
✓3+ years’ experience in information security with network penetration testing
✓Experience working with enterprise environments
✓Experience with network or systems administration
✓Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Shell, Ruby)
✓Experience with IT security compliance frameworks (PCI, FISMA, HIPAA, FEDRAMP, HITRUST)
✓1-3 years of experience in IT Security Audit and/or Compliance role
✓Experience interacting with management in a consultative manner
✓Strong IT understanding of networks, servers, workstations, and applications
✓Excellent communication and presentation skills
✓Ability to travel up to 20%
