About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own our data backbone at Coates Group, shaping architecture, building scalable frameworks, and delivering robust pipelines that power smarter decisions. This role involves leading end-to-end data engineering initiatives and partnering with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize solutions that turn complex data into trusted business assets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take ownership of data engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data owners, analytics engineers, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data pipelines.
- →Design and build data pipelines that enable seamless data integration from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
- →Continuously optimize and enhance the data infrastructure to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
- →Promote the use of data-driven decision-making by empowering teams with access to accurate and timely data.
- →Stay current with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated experience in data engineering with a track record of delivering successful data solutions.
- ✓Expertise in AWS Cloud services, Snowflake, Azure Cloud, Airflow, Airbite, Athena, Glue, DBT, and S3.
- ✓Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and ETL.
- ✓Solid knowledge of database technologies – T-SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse methodologies.
