About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join Codeway's growing Barcelona engineering hub. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications used by millions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review product requirements and technical designs to provide early feedback
- →Design and maintain comprehensive test cases and scenarios
- →Plan and coordinate testing activities across features and releases
- →Execute manual and automated tests on iOS and Android applications
- →Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- →Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing before releases
- →Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues
- →Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and automation coverage
- →Monitor quality metrics such as defect trends and release stability
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably with mobile apps
- ✓Experience writing clear, structured test cases
- ✓Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
- ✓Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- ✓Experience testing iOS and Android applications
- ✓Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- ✓Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
- ✓Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, EarlGrey)
- ✓Understanding of regression, performance, smoke, or security testing principles
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
