About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Coinbase and work directly with the CEO, Brian Armstrong, on developing consumer-facing AI products. This role focuses on designing the Coinbase AI Advisor experience in the Coinbase Retail App.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy
- →Own the end-to-end user journey for Coinbase AI Advisor across mobile and web
- →Translate complex mechanics into simple, high-trust flows that help retail customers make informed decisions
- →Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Legal/Compliance to define problems, explore solutions, and ship experiences quickly
- →Design high-quality UI and interaction patterns that are simple and intuitive for users
- →Run iterative design cycles: ideate, prototype, test with users, and refine based on both qualitative research and quantitative data
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of product design experience
- ✓Strong product thinking: ability to take ambiguous, technical problems and turn them into clear customer journeys and flows
- ✓Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users
- ✓Sharp attention to detail and mastery over visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
- ✓Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience
- ✓Thrives in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous) environment
- ✓Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
- ✓Experience designing AI-powered products
- ✓Interest and experience in financial products and/or crypto
