About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join Convera, a global leader in commercial payments. This role involves identifying and contacting new prospects to arrange qualified appointments for Senior Business Development Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Proactively identify and contact new prospects from multiple sources including databases, events, and partnerships
- →Use sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and ZoomInfo to directly prospect new opportunities
- →Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue and appointment setting targets
- →Work closely with Senior Business Development managers, Industry leads, and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contacts
- →Manage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis
- →Use commercial awareness to demonstrate and promote ideal solutions for potential clients
Requirements
- ✓Similar experiences in a sales role, ideally used to making outbound calls
- ✓Knowledge of / experience working in B2B payments or FX is highly desirable
- ✓Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- ✓Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce would be advantageous
- ✓Professional telephone manner
- ✓Resilient, motivated individual with a tenacious and competitive mindset to succeed
