About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager, Education to join Convera, a global leader in commercial payments. This role focuses on developing relationships with decision makers in the higher education sector and providing guidance on utilizing Convera tools.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop relationships with decision makers and influencers at client organizations in the higher education space
- →Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business needs and providing guidance on Convera tools
- →Act as main point of contact for all FX Transactions and Value-Add Payment activities
- →Identify new market and strategic expansion opportunities to exceed revenue targets
- →Develop strategic plans for assigned portfolios to maintain customer service while achieving growth targets
- →Enhance brand awareness with excellent communication and presentations
- →Act as an escalation point for existing customer issues
- →Support Direct Sales teams on client discovery for new business opportunities
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Product, Technology, Marketing, and other departments
- →Own portfolio management, health, and growth of new opportunities
- →Follow Salesforce and other sales operational tools for pipeline and opportunity management
- →Champion Convera values
Requirements
- ✓5-10+ years in Sales or Account Management roles with a proven track record of achieving targets
- ✓Experience in the higher education industry in Australia (strongly preferred)
- ✓Proven track record of achieving targets, identifying new sales opportunities, delivering client solutions, and owning the voice of the customer
- ✓Experience in analyzing data and sales statistics to improve sales
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- ✓Strong interpersonal skills to lead and build positive relationships at senior executive levels
- ✓Excellent communication and presentation skills across all media
- ✓Experience in leading sales and GTM technology (Salesforce experience an asset)
- ✓Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- ✓Ability to travel throughout Australia for client visits (10-20% of time)
- ✓Existing and ongoing working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
