About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for growing sales of the Company’s brand partners at current and new retailers in their area of responsibility. This position focuses on delivering profitable sales results through strategic partnerships and promotional planning.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create, build, and maintain strong partnerships with distributors and retailers to grow brands in the assigned geography.
- →Execute the go-to-market strategy for brands in retail channels in the assigned geography.
- →Develop, present, and execute brand promotional plans on a retailer-by-retailer basis.
- →Prepare, develop, and deliver metrics and analytical reports to provide timely business information.
- →Conduct store audits to ensure merchandizing standards and promotional programming are being executed.
- →Resolve customer issues by following appropriate administrative processes and company policies.
- →Participate in distributor kick-offs, recurring meetings, and trade shows.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or Business Management.
- ✓2+ years of successful sales experience with increased responsibility with retail customers.
- ✓Established relationships and demonstrated success working with key retail accounts and distributors.
- ✓Working knowledge of financials used in the sales process.
- ✓Strong planning and organizational skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills.
- ✓Full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- ✓Proficient in Syndicated Data Tools including SPINs, IRI, and Nielsen.
