About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Roku Software Developer to join our team at Crunchyroll. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance Roku channels and applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch streaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph
- →Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers
- →Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices
- →Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Roku applications
- →Stay updated with the latest Roku development trends
- →Write and maintain technical documentation
- →Provide mentorship to junior developers
Requirements
- ✓4-6 years of professional software development experience
- ✓Significant experience in Roku development
- ✓Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects
- ✓Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
- ✓Proven experience mentoring junior developers
- ✓Strong ability to work with remote teams
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
