About the Role
We are looking for a Swedish-English Translator to join our global RegTech business. This role involves reviewing and editing translations of legal documents and using our platform to match sections of laws.
Key Responsibilities
- →Review and edit translations of laws, legal documents, and other documents from Swedish to English
- →Use the CUBE platform to match sections of laws to sections in CUBE
- →Conduct legal research using official sources from your jurisdiction and language
- →Conduct ad hoc/assigned research in your language from time to time
Requirements
- ✓Experienced linguist/translator with an understanding of information-related legislation, governance, risk, and compliance
- ✓Good research skills with an ability to analyze and interpret complex information
- ✓Written and spoken English (UK) is a necessity
- ✓Written and spoken Swedish is a necessity
- ✓Ability to write clearly and concisely
- ✓Good knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- ✓Ability to observe strict confidentiality
- ✓Proven team skills
