About the Role
D2L is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Account Management team. In this role, you will help clients and educators maximize their use of D2L products and services by understanding their unique needs and proposing tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Become a hands-on expert in the Brightspace platform, ensuring practical implementation of solutions.
- →Support the sales process by mastering D2L products and services, including functionality, usage, architecture, and deployment.
- →Prepare and present persuasive product demonstrations to diverse audiences, from students to CIOs.
- →Conduct needs analysis sessions to understand client infrastructure and customization requirements.
- →Provide feedback to product management teams on use cases and trends.
- →Create technical documentation and materials for prospects.
- →Engage internal SMEs in sales opportunities.
- →Attend sales presentations, meetings, and conferences with 25-50% travel.
- →Participate in proposal writing, reviewing client requirements and creating clear responses.
Requirements
- ✓3+ years' experience as a Brightspace user, either as an administrator or instructor.
- ✓Comfort with other learning management systems and platforms that integrate with LMS.
- ✓Deep interest in education and educational technology, including familiarity with the technology ecosystem.
- ✓Excellent presentation skills for complex education and technology concepts.
- ✓Highly engaging in person and virtually.
- ✓Excellent writing and comprehension skills.
- ✓Ability to work remotely in a professional manner.
- ✓Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
