About the Role
DailyPay is seeking a Software Engineering Manager (Data) to join their growing Engineering Team. This role involves managing a distributed team of Data Engineers and MLOPs Engineers, partnering with colleagues across Data, Engineering, and Product to modernize data offerings and create a scalable data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage a distributed team of Data Engineers and MLOPs Engineers
- →Partner with colleagues across Data, Engineering, and Product
- →Oversee the transition from monolithic to micro-services architecture
- →Optimize affected pipelines to ensure robustness
- →Create new, high-value datasets that empower business users
Requirements
- ✓8+ years experience building/supporting highly-scalable modern applications and services
- ✓3+ years experience managing, coaching, and motivating Engineering teams
- ✓Experience in driving, executing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions
- ✓Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- ✓Experience delivering software using Agile (Kanban) methodologies
- ✓Experience recruiting, hiring, and developing software engineers at all levels
