About the Role
Daily Wire is seeking a talented Editor/Animator to join their post-production team. This role involves transforming raw footage into compelling video content for DW Ventures productions, working closely with post-production and production leadership to apply creative vision and Daily Wire standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Edit Daily Wire podcasts, shows, host original content, and creative/promotional videos (long- and short-form)
- →Collaborate closely with the Director of Post-Production to execute creative vision and implement feedback
- →Craft compelling storytelling through precise assembly edits, string-outs, and final cuts
- →Create and maintain project templates and support efficient post-production workflows
- →Edit across multiple digital video formats, including converting, transcoding, and compressing media
- →Deliver high-quality content on time and on budget while managing multiple projects
- →Organize, archive, and manage footage, deliverables, and post-production assets
- →Communicate with team members, complete daily project logs, and support team operations as needed
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of professional video editing experience with a solid understanding of video production workflows
- ✓Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects (motion graphics required)
- ✓Strong knowledge of digital media standards, including codecs, formats, resolutions, and frame rates
- ✓Proven assembly and editorial experience with strong visual sensibility, pacing, and storytelling skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and apply creative feedback from leadership
- ✓Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
- ✓Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and workflow efficiency
- ✓G Suite proficiency; audio mixing and color correction experience preferred but not required
