About the Role
Dandy is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The IT Department owns all technology needs for Dandy. In this role, youβll assist the IT Manufacturing and Supply Chain Team with various tasks to ensure the high reliability of the IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- βAssist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- βTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network, server, and workstation systems, and cloud systems
- βMonitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of all IT systems
- βManage user accounts and access controls, including Active Directory and other authentication mechanisms
- βProvide technical support to end-users, including remote support
- βAssist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
- βStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of IT
- βParticipate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response
- βOn-site office support to be provided five days per week
Requirements
- β3+ years of professional experience working in an IT role
- βKnowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs
- βFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory, and Google Workspace
- βExperience with Windows operating systems and hardware
- βFamiliarity with macOS operating systems and hardware
- βStrong problem-solving and analytical skills
- βExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
- βAbility to work independently and as part of a team
