About the Role

We are looking for an Editor to join Darkroom, a leading growth marketing firm. The Editor will develop and assist in creating marketing collateral, including video content and organic content, to help clients grow their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

→Edit UGC-style videos in various content formats
→Develop and execute thumb-stopping social media video edits
→Brainstorm inventive edits and hooks that drive engagement
→Stay current on social media platforms, ad offerings, and trends
→Collaborate with the performance marketing team to review ad analytics
→Provide accessible content with closed captioning and voiceover
→Set up projects for edit staff and ingest footage
→Maintain media storage and version various aspect ratios
→Assist senior staff with edit and administrative needs

Requirements

✓Experience creating platform native content, especially IG Reels, Meta ads, and TikTok viral video campaigns
✓Exceptional time management and organization skills
✓Strong Motion Graphics/Graphic Design/Typography skills
✓Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and FCPX
✓Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
✓Familiarity with broadcast finishing workflows
✓Familiarity with networked server environments
✓Strong technical knowledge of codecs and transcoding practices
✓Strong communication skills
✓Proficient with animation/graphic design preferred
