About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Engineer to join our Platform Support team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional support for our Databricks Data Intelligence platform, addressing complex technical challenges, and ensuring the seamless operation of our data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the primary technical point of contact for escalated issues related to the Databricks Data Intelligence platform
- →Engage with customers directly to understand their technical issues and requirements
- →Lead the resolution of high-priority incidents, coordinating with various teams
- →Work closely with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to drive improvements
- →Create and maintain detailed documentation on support procedures and solutions
- →Monitor and analyze platform performance metrics to identify potential issues
- →Manage and oversee the deployment of platform upgrades and patches
- →Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Databricks technology
- →Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in technical support or engineering roles
- ✓Deep understanding of Databricks architecture and Apache Spark
- ✓Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- ✓Strong capabilities in designing and managing data pipelines and distributed computing
- ✓Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and familiarity with DevOps practices
- ✓Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Proven experience in managing high-impact customer interactions
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
