About the Role
We are looking for a Developer Advocate to join the Neon DevRel team at Databricks. This role focuses on bridging the gap between engineering teams and the community of application and agent developers building on Postgres and Neon.
Key Responsibilities
- →Maintain and extend customer-facing SDKs and libraries to empower builders with Neon
- →Create developer-focused content to help users discover features, solve problems, and grow their skills
- →Drive adoption and excitement through community engagement and event participation
- →Produce educational assets like videos, tutorials, and blog posts
- →Expand the Neon community through conference presence and online spaces
- →Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure developer feedback influences roadmap decisions
- →Create and manage programs that deepen engagement with developers
- →Gather and amplify community feedback to improve Neon’s product experience
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as a Developer Advocate, software engineer, or related role
- ✓Proven ability to deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
- ✓Professional experience building and shipping software or data solutions
- ✓Demonstrated skill in creating technical content for developers
- ✓Deep empathy for developer needs with clear communication abilities
- ✓Mastery in at least one core advocacy skill
- ✓Applied expertise in product components with practical guidance abilities
- ✓Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Track record of involvement in developer communities and cross-functional collaboration
