About the Role
Datadog is seeking a Product Manager to lead and scale OpenTelemetry efforts across their products. This highly visible role will focus on evolving OpenTelemetry at Datadog, strengthening consistency, deepening integration, and delivering best-in-class experiences for customers who rely on open standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and drive Datadog’s company-wide OpenTelemetry vision and roadmap
- →Drive customer discovery across multiple products and initiatives
- →Partner with product and engineering leaders to strengthen native OpenTelemetry support
- →Influence OpenTelemetry investment direction and product priorities
- →Define and track internal and external OpenTelemetry adoption metrics
- →Represent Datadog externally with customers and in industry forums
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of Product Management experience
- ✓Strong technical understanding of distributed systems and the OpenTelemetry ecosystem
- ✓Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives
- ✓Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
- ✓Customer-focused and data-driven decision-making
