About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Decagon's Infrastructure team. This role focuses on building and evolving internal developer platforms to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify workflow bottlenecks and build tools that reduce toil
- →Create and maintain service templates, CLIs, libraries, and automation
- →Design reusable CI pipelines and deployment workflows
- →Improve reliability of builds and tests
- →Establish shared observability primitives and standards
- →Build and improve core platform capabilities
- →Own systems end-to-end and maintain production health
Requirements
- ✓4+ years building production software with platform/devtools experience
- ✓Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript/JS, or similar
- ✓Experience with CI/CD systems and pipeline design
- ✓Practical experience with observability in production systems
- ✓Comfort with containers and modern cloud infrastructure
- ✓Track record of improving developer experience
- ✓Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills
