About the job:
As a Staff Product Operations Manager within our Fintech Client Experience team, you will play a crucial role in establishing strong connections between our product and user-facing teams. Partnering with our talented Product Managers, you will lead the development of new features, improve existing functionality, and help shape product processes from scratch.
Collaborating closely with support, sales, and success teams, you will ensure a seamless feedback loop, enabling continuous product improvements. You will also work closely with client-facing teams and engage directly with customers and partners to deeply understand their operational workflows, integrations, and fintech-related challenges.
In this staff-level role, you will drive complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence product strategy and operations through insights from data, client feedback, and operational metrics. You will have the opportunity to directly engage with users, gaining invaluable insights into their use cases and challenges, and integrating these into the product. This is a pivotal, cross-functional role that will have a major impact on scaling our fintech product operations. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and leverage AI and automation tools to improve processes, efficiency, and decision-making.
What you will enjoy working on:
- Lead large-scale cross-functional projects focused on product improvement, innovation, and enhancing user experience.
- Collect, quantify, and prioritize product-related challenges for consideration by product and engineering teams in future development.
- Work closely with client-facing teams and leverage insights from customer interactions and implementations to inform product improvements.
- Seek information and contribute to the building and shaping of our product, solving conceptual problems along the way.
- Drive major company launches and global rollouts, ensuring successful product deployments.
- Dive deep into data and analyze user feedback to derive insights that drive continuous product improvements.
- Identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
- Design and implement complex operational systems and processes to optimize product operations.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance product workflows.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in product operations or similar roles, working closely with product and engineering teams.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure products is strongly preferred.
- Solid analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of complex products and their various use cases.
- Proficiency in data analysis, extracting meaningful insights, and utilizing them to drive product enhancements.
- Ability to empathize with user problems, understand pain points, and effectively shape product decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Problem-focused and solutions-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a hands-on approach to execution.
- General technical knowledge of software development processes and systems (experience in designing and building payment systems is a significant advantage).
- Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Snowflake, Datadog, Excel/Sheets) and excellent presentation skills.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, product-driven tech company and payroll is a huge advantage.
