About the Role
We are looking for an Expert Editor Engineer to join our team at DeepL, a global AI product and research company focused on building secure, intelligent solutions. This role involves designing and building a sophisticated editing platform that expands upon our existing translator, enabling granular, segment-level control over translations and supporting various input formats.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own features end-to-end, delivering medium-complexity features from design through production
- →Drive customer impact by ensuring work is relevant and maintainable, using data and stakeholder feedback
- →Build PoCs to create certainty when faced with ambiguous technical challenges
- →Challenge requirements proactively, applying product and technical context to make better design decisions
- →Collaborate cross-functionally, communicating clearly across teams and unblocking others
- →Support and mentor others, helping engineers grow and identifying opportunities to improve team delivery
- →Adapt to evolving priorities, staying flexible as requirements shift and maintaining momentum
- →Share operational responsibility, participating in on-call rotations and taking ownership of code in production
