About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Research Tooling Team at DeepL. This role involves designing and building full-stack features to support our researchers in developing cutting-edge AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build full-stack features, collaborating with researchers to create efficient research workflows
- →Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for our ML code base and manage service deployments
- →Improve observability, monitoring, and automation to proactively detect and resolve incidents
- →Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help raise the bar for engineering excellence
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, ML engineers, and platform teams
Requirements
- ✓Deep empathy for solving user problems and bringing a product-oriented mindset
- ✓Strong software engineering skills with clean abstractions, robust data modeling, and sound architectural decisions
- ✓Comfortable working across the stack, with experience in technologies like Python, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes
- ✓Technical leadership, driving cross-team initiatives, mentoring peers, and setting engineering standards
- ✓Clear communicator, active listener, and team player
- ✓Eager to learn and open to new challenges
