About the Role
The Local DevEx team within the Foundations group empowers engineers to develop, test, and ship high-quality services quickly and confidently. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will lead technical direction, remove deep technical blockers, and mentor other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define technical solutions for important business problems
- →Design and improve developer journeys and onboarding flows
- →Own integration strategy for remote execution and development acceleration
- →Forecast and manage project timelines and risks
- →Mentor senior and mid-level engineers
- →Lead engineering interviews and contribute to hiring decisions
Requirements
- ✓Deep experience in developer platforms or related infrastructure
- ✓Demonstrated shipping production systems and cross-team initiatives
- ✓Hands-on experience with CLI/tooling platforms and developer UX
- ✓Practical experience with languages like Go, Python, TypeScript
- ✓Experience with remote build/execution systems and cache architectures
- ✓Experience integrating LLM/AI tooling into developer flows
- ✓Excellent communicator who can influence stakeholders and align teams
- ✓Experience working closely with customer engineering groups
