About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Product Owner to join our Product Management team at Grupo Despegar. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities and managing the product development backlog with a data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- βIdentify opportunities and create business cases, with a strong data-driven focus, to feed the product development backlog
- βWork with IT and UX/UI teams to implement both large projects and features that impact business and user experience
- βAnalyze processes to find improvements and propose initiatives that increase efficiency
- βCollaborate with commercial and operations teams to gather feedback and design innovative products focused on maximizing sales
- βAnalyze and prioritize initiatives/projects based on effort, expected impact, and innovation
- βImplement initiatives and measure their success, monitor product performance, and adjust strategy as needed
- βTrack business KPIs, ensuring initiatives contribute to achieving objectives
Requirements
- βProfessional degree in engineering, business administration, finance, economics, or related fields
- βMinimum two years of experience in product or business areas such as commercial planning, revenue, or performance marketing
- βProficiency in SQL, Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualization tools
- βIntermediate English proficiency
- βPreferred: Experience with AI tools
