About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Platform Developer to strengthen our cloud-based Lakehouse platform architecture. This role focuses on defining and enforcing platform-level architectural standards to ensure consistent and transparent solutions across our data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

→Define, document, and refine layer semantics and promotion rules across Landing, Sources, Bronze, Silver, and Gold
→Establish and govern platform guardrails and contracts, including schema evolution and CDC principles
→Own and evolve the platform reference architecture, including capability/service boundaries and integration patterns
→Drive the target platform architecture and maintain a prioritized architectural runway
→Support and review solution designs for new use cases
→Establish an architecture documentation practice that remains current and usable
→Ensure consistent representation of the platform within enterprise architecture tooling
→Partner with Data Architects and domain teams to ensure platform rules enable high-quality modelling

Requirements

✓Experience with platform-level architectural standards and contracts
✓Knowledge of governance tooling such as Databricks Unity Catalog or Microsoft Fabric OneLake
✓Understanding of schema evolution, CDC principles, and non-functional requirements
✓Ability to define and document layer semantics and promotion rules
✓Experience with enterprise architecture tooling like LeanIX
✓Strong collaboration skills with data architects, data engineers, and solution designers
