About the Role
Join our International Team and help create greenfield software for one of Deutsche Telekom Group's most important projects. You will have an impact on 30 million customers who will use our product to request Fiber network services and track installation progress.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and operate Keycloak/RHSSO-based IAM capabilities on Kubernetes
- →Support team development by standardizing deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting practices
- →Continuously improve reliability, security, and automation around the IAM platform
Requirements
- ✓At least 3 years of work experience as DevOps/Platform Engineer with hands-on Kubernetes operations
- ✓Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect concepts
- ✓Practical experience with GitOps delivery using Argo CD
- ✓Experience working with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Comfortable scripting in Python and Bash for automation and troubleshooting
- ✓IAM fundamentals: authentication vs authorization, identity lifecycle, role/permission model design
- ✓Keycloak/RHSSO: hands-on experience with realms, clients, roles, scopes, identity providers
- ✓Configuration-as-code mindset for Keycloak
- ✓Operability: diagnose and resolve platform issues, contribute to incident response
- ✓Kubernetes & networking: experience with deployments, services, ingress, environment-specific configuration
- ✓Packaging & delivery: Helm charts and Argo CD application management
- ✓Experience in CI/CD using GitLab
- ✓Infrastructure as Code approach
- ✓Observability: experience with Grafana/Prometheus, ELK stack, Dynatrace
- ✓Experience with PostgreSQL in operational contexts
- ✓General understanding of how Keycloak and IAM components rely on Postgres
- ✓Security & Performance: experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT-based authentication
- ✓Understanding of TLS/certificates and secure exposure of IAM endpoints
- ✓Experience using monitoring and load-testing tools to observe performance, capacity, and stability of IAM services.
