About the Role
We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to provide focused development capacity for a short-term project lasting 3-6 months. This execution-oriented role requires an experienced offshore developer who can work independently based on approved designs and established processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop D365 F&O customizations using X++, extensions, event handlers, and Chain of Command (CoC)
- →Build or enhance tables, forms, classes, batch jobs, and data entities based on approved Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Technical Designs
- →Refactor or remediate legacy AX 2012 code to align with D365 F&O best practices
- →Develop and support integrations using Data Management Framework (DMF), file-based integrations, or OData
- →Build and maintain data entities to support integrations and migration
- →Work within established Azure DevOps repositories and branching strategies
- →Perform unit and developer testing for delivered components
- →Work closely with on-shore technical and functional leads
Requirements
- ✓4+ years as a Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Developer
- ✓Advanced X++ development capability
- ✓Proven experience with extensions, CoC, and event-driven patterns
- ✓Solid understanding of DMF, data entities, and integration patterns
- ✓Experience working with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
- ✓Prior experience working in offshore delivery models
- ✓Experience supporting AX 2012 → D365 F&O migrations or major upgrades
- ✓Ability to deliver against tight timelines with minimal supervision
- ✓Ability to work with locally hosted D365 F&O VM or UDE
