About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Technical Product Manager to join a leading innovator in the furniture industry. This role blends visionary product strategy with hands-on project execution, collaborating across departments to bring exciting new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing to define and maintain the product roadmap
- →Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions
- →Define product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- →Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, feasibility, and customer needs
- →Partner with design and product development to ensure products meet both aesthetic and functional standards
- →Monitor product performance using analytics, customer feedback, and key metrics to inform continuous improvement
- →Lead end-to-end project management for product development initiatives, from concept through production and market release
- →Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
- →Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- →Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, issues, and dependencies
- →Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- ✓5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- ✓Previous experience in product development
- ✓Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- ✓Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- ✓Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday) and product analysis software (i.e. Excel)
- ✓Experience in consumer products, furniture, or manufacturing industries is preferred
- ✓Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and sewing production processes is preferred
- ✓PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
- ✓Experience leading a team and/or managing people a plus
