About the Role
We are looking for a Claims Submission & A/R Follow-Up Team Leader to support and guide a centralized dental insurance team. This hands-on role ensures claims are submitted accurately and on time, insurance follow-up is done consistently, and payments are received without unnecessary delays.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support and guide a team handling insurance claims and A/R follow-up
- →Ensure claims are submitted clean and complete within 24 hours of treatment
- →Confirm required attachments (X-rays, narratives, photos, etc.) are included
- →Follow up on insurance claims over 21 days until resolved
- →Assist with denied, underpaid, or complex claims
- →Collaborate with credentialing and office teams to resolve insurance issues
- →Identify trends or recurring issues that may delay payment
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of dental insurance claims and A/R experience
- ✓Prior team lead or mentoring experience preferred
- ✓Knowledge of dental insurance processes and payer requirements
- ✓Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Experience in a dental group or DSO environment is a plus
