About the Role
We are seeking an Outreach Specialist to champion the growth of National University's educational partnerships and community outreach in an assigned territory. This role focuses on building relationships with external constituents to increase enrollments and brand awareness while addressing workforce education demands.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contact prospects via email, telephone, face-to-face, and networking events to schedule meetings and conduct presentations on partner benefits.
- →Coordinate existing and new educational partnerships' growth opportunities with partners and strategic organizations.
- →Conduct B2C outreach with current and prospective organizational partners to identify partnership and lead generation opportunities.
- →Implement, attend, and manage recruitment activities such as webinars, education fairs, trade shows, and conferences.
- →Network with the community in an assigned territory to develop strong relationships between the university and the community.
- →Perform regular follow-up with accounts and regionally relevant organizations to determine additional support required.
- →Build and improve company image and promote university awareness.
- →Document and track outreach efforts using CRM and scheduling software like Salesforce and Monday.com.
- →Plan, organize, and manage internal procedures to ensure successful lead generation and meeting of partnership goals.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree required.
- ✓Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education, community college, admissions, or business development.
- ✓Experience in higher education strongly preferred.
- ✓Experience working in a technology-driven enterprise preferred.
- ✓Exceptional community relations skills and ability to represent the university's brand and values.
- ✓Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to project professional competence and leadership.
- ✓Excellent public speaking skills with ability to present to groups both virtual and in-person.
- ✓Intermediate to advanced use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
- ✓Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
- ✓Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- ✓Ability to travel frequently, up to 60-75% for employer/partnership cultivation and events.
