About the Role
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join the Core Platform Team within the Digital Commerce division. This hybrid role involves working on fast-growing B2B eCommerce products as part of a global team spanning Ireland, The Netherlands, USA, and Canada. The position focuses on delivering maximum value through backend and frontend development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain backend components of PHP-based e-commerce platform
- →Work within the in-house framework following coding standards and conventions
- →Implement integrations with third-party systems such as ERPs, payment gateways, and APIs
- →Develop and maintain frontend functionality using Twig, PHP, and occasionally React
- →Contribute to React-based administrative app with full training provided
- →Write and maintain automated tests using Codeception and Cypress
- →Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and agile sprint ceremonies
- →Diagnose, debug, and resolve performance and scalability issues in production
- →Use GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and AWS deployment
- →Collaborate with Product, Customer Engineering, and Support teams
Requirements
- ✓Strong solution design skills, preferably in SaaS product development
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- ✓Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- ✓Knowledge and experience of e-commerce solutions and ERP integrations
- ✓Agile/Scrum experience with passion for process improvement
- ✓Degree in Computer Science or related field desirable but not essential
