About the Role
We are looking for a high-level Portfolio Operations Technical Lead to lead our investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Operational Oversight: Review daily discrepancies (breaks) to ensure compliance, complete documentation, and timely resolution.
- →Operations Cycle: Execute daily operations of Trade Matching, Settlements, post-settlements, and Corporate Actions.
- →Reporting and Quality: Ensure accurate and timely delivery of SOD, EOD, and ad-hoc requests.
- →Process Leadership: Lead onboarding of new client processes and system reviews to maximize efficiency.
- →Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, clients, custodians, and counterparts maintaining effective communication.
- →Team Support: Function as technical backup for specialists and seniors, and support in training.
Requirements
- ✓Education: Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. Master's degree is a plus.
- ✓Experience: 8 to 10+ years in investment operations, trading support, or portfolio reconciliation in multinational banking, investment firms, or hedge funds.
- ✓Financial Expertise: Deep knowledge of investment transactions and assets such as equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income.
- ✓Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency for complex financial data analysis.
- ✓Languages: Exceptional spoken and written English. Essential.
- ✓Competencies: Organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously under SLA metrics.
