About the Role
We are looking for a versatile Python Software Engineer to join our team at dLocal. This role focuses on building scalable AI solutions and software development, with opportunities to contribute to architecture design and data understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- →Treat the AI ecosystem as your own, owning end-to-end delivery, architecture, and value creation for hundreds of developers.
- →Design, code, and deploy Python-based microservices in a cloud environment, anticipating future needs and proposing better architectures.
- →Define and monitor metrics to ensure solutions speed up workflows, using hard data to guide engineering decisions.
- →Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across microservices, distributed architectures, and different environments.
- →Adapt to unknown territories when product demands it, taking initiative to learn and solve problems.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and building microservices, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Python.
- ✓Proven, deep experience operating in the cloud (ideally AWS), with a strong track record of deploying microservices and working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
- ✓Experience building highly efficient applications and understanding the nuances of CPython's execution constraints.
- ✓Understanding of network unreliability and data consistency in distributed environments, with experience building fault-tolerant systems.
- ✓Hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases, as well as message brokers.
- ✓Active user of AI coding assistants and leveraging them daily to improve productivity, write tests, and review code.
