About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer II to join our agile team at Dun & Bradstreet. This role involves setting global standards for data quality, implementing best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain and improve our data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and mentor coding standards
- →Implement new data maintenance processes
- →Evaluate and implement recent technology solutions
- →Take end-to-end process ownership
- →Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- →Conduct knowledge exchange sessions for both technical and non-technical audiences
- →Automate manual processes and develop data tools
- →Build new analytical processes to address data quality issues
- →Create processes to fetch data from open sources like websites
- →Research and implement modern data mastering techniques
- →Support other data engineers with ETL design, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
- →Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Strong knowledge of data transformation processes and various datatypes
- ✓Familiarity with current market solutions
- ✓Understanding of Data Operations methodology
- ✓Knowledge of Service Now and/or Jira
- ✓AWS/GCP certification preferred
- ✓Strong SQL knowledge including SQL Server administration
- ✓Experience with SSIS, Go, Python, Git/Bitbucket, APIs, and NoSQL
- ✓Familiarity with Machine Learning and reporting tools like Power BI
- ✓Understanding of security and version controls
- ✓Experience managing stakeholders and project plans
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- ✓Fluency in English and relevant market languages
