About the Role
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Multimedia AI team at Dropbox. You will help shape the future of Dropbox Dash by leveraging the latest advancements in AI/ML and working with large-scale data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with large scale data systems and infrastructure
- →Help productionize multimodal and semantic retrieval systems at scale
- →Partner with product, design, and infrastructure teams to improve retrieval, ranking, and conversational experiences
- →Build and iterate on quick prototypes and experimental features
- →Run quality and performance benchmarks across components and end-to-end systems
- →Contribute to open source projects and leverage OSS tools
Requirements
- ✓BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- ✓5+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in building Machine Learning or AI systems
- ✓Proven software engineering skills in Python, Go, C/C++
- ✓Experience with Machine Learning tools like PyTorch, HuggingFace, TensorFlow
- ✓Familiarity with search-related applications of Large Language Models
- ✓Experience in machine learning, multimodal AI, or search and ranking systems
- ✓Familiarity with semantic search, embeddings, and optimizing ranking metrics
- ✓Experience running quality and performance benchmarks in large-scale systems
