About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Easol, an all-in-one 'experience commerce' platform. This role involves developing core services and infrastructure while collaborating with product managers to drive technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code
- →Contribute to product decisions, working closely with product managers to shape feature development
- →Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges
- →Participate in architectural discussions and help refining our engineering standards
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments
- ✓Some level of understanding of web application performance optimisation techniques
- ✓Some experience with scaling applications and managing platform infrastructure
- ✓Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- ✓Knowledge of different software delivery methodologies (Agile, Kanban, etc.) and ability to tailor processes to team needs
